Birthdate/Place:

I Cruz Salas was born June 14, 1996 in La Mesa, California at Grossmont Hospital.

Family Members:  

I have 3 sisters and 1 brother. My oldest sister who is my step sister from a previous man my mom was with when she was 16 is 27 and lives in New York my oldest younger sister is 12 same mother and father then my littlest sister is 2 and we have the same dad different mom. My mom is Nikol Gorgette Salas and my dad is Richard Cruz Salas married for 10 years divorced when I was 8. I have my grandma and grandpa on my moms side Sandy and Kenny Brock, Kenny is technically my step grandpa but he’s the only one I’ve ever known so I don’t see him as that. Then on my dads side I have my grandpa who’ve I’ve only seen about 3 times in my life is Rueben Salas and I have my grandma Mona Salas and they have been divorced since my dad was very young around 1.

Child/School Life:

As a child I was very shy but very curious but although I wanted to learn things I hated school. I’ve always been smart but I have also always been very lazy when it comes to things that I don’t want to do or find unappealing to what I want to learn my grades have always been a little high than a C average for the most part. I went to a catholic school for most of my life from preschool to 7th grade its name was Holy Trinity located in El Cajon on Ballard Street. It was probably the most overly strict and overly priced school I’ve ever been and seen that school has been there since 1950 and it still looks like it is in the 1950’s I hated the teachers and staff there and was pretty defiant and would always get in trouble. But one thing I did like was that I knew everyone in my class for basically my whole life and it was more like a family than a class. Eight grade I went to Rio Seco in Santee my first public school ever but I actually had no problem fitting in and I loved it. Then I got to high school where I am now I feel like I’m back where I started an overly strict school with teachers and staff I hate but oh well that’s life I’m almost out of here anyways.

Hobbies/Interests:

I never had something I was interested in or was good at pretty much my whole life and it made me really upset and felt like I wasn’t good at anything and had no purpose until I hit high school I started playing guitar and playing at school in the guitar class I found out I was pretty good at it and could pick up new things fast even though I hated the class and thought the teacher didn’t know anything about teaching a class and not being a complete pushover I still loved going because I got to play at school as a class plus it was easy credits that I liked obtaining. Then eventually I started getting into recording, editing, and writing music which turned into me wanting to become an audio engineer. Also around junior year I got a “Gentlemen’s” haircut and started to learn more about traditional hair styles and pomade which lead me to make my own and want to become a barber too.

Anecdotes:

When I was in second grade at the age of eight my parents got divorced before my dad moved out right as he was about to leave the house he said “Son you know I’m leaving your mom and I’m moving out but I’ll be right down the street but things are changing now I’m sorry this is happening to you but you’re gonna have to grow up faster than most kids you’re gonna have to be the man of the house but I want you to remember this isn’t your fault and I’ll always be your father.” Sometimes I look back at this moment of my life and realize he was right. I did have to grow up and be the man of the house at age 8 I was basically the only male role model for my little sister and I had to watch her and take care of her while my mom was at work. I had to support my mom because she was going through a rough time emotionally and financially. And to this day at age 17 almost 18 I still am and I still do all of those things. For the past almost 10 years I have been the man of the house.

Career:

I want to be a full time audio engineer and a part time barber/barber shop owner/pomade company which I know is a lot of things but I can combine my barbing into one full thing but on top of being an audio engineer I want to own my own record label

Reason For Fame:

I want to be famous for owning the best barbershop in the west coast with the best owner produced pomade while also having the best record label for underground music.
